Excessive

It's gonna rain in a few minutes and I'm sitting here in the dark eagerly awaiting the first raindrop. Hopefully after it rains it will be nice and cool and the humidity will disappear. I also hope that the storm lasts a long time because I'm in the mood to listen to some rain for awhile.

I had such a bad headache last night that I could barely function. I had a hot bath to try and fix it that way, but it didn't help, so I took a sleeping pill, and then ate popcorn and had a pop, and surprisingly the popcorn and pop made my headache a bit better, and by that time my sleeping pill had kicked in, so after the Daily Show, Colbert Report and season premier of Dirty Jobs I was ready to fall asleep (pretty much instantly). Luckily when I woke up today my headache was gone and I felt pretty rested, something that doesn't happen very often.

Ben came over yesterday after he was done work (around 6:30 or 7pm). For the first hour or so we played a lot of Guitar Hero 2. We managed to five star a song that Michelle and I hadn't been able to, and we practiced some of the other songs that are left to five star. It was a lot of fun, and Ben gets better with each song, so it won't be long until we can five star everything. After Guitar Hero, we played some DS games because I'm pretty sure Ben hadn't seen any before, so I made him try out Elite Beat Agents, which he liked and was pretty good at right away, then we played some Mario Kart multiplayer, and some New Super Mario Bros. mini-games. After we finished the DS playing, we played some StarCraft, and then some WarCraft 3, and then talked about Diablo 2 and how the ladder was reset. We're probably gonna start characters in Diablo 2 next weekend and try to get on the ladder, but we're just gonna create characters that are unique and creative and have a lot of fun. We also might play some Diablo 1 for shits and giggles, but I'm not sure yet.

Well... it's raining really, really hard right now, so I guess my wish came true. I'm going to finish this entry so if the power goes out it's not all gone. I'll be playing Pokemon and watching the rain. Peace!
