Like Whisper's In The Dark

It feels like it's been a long and tiring day. My legs hurt, my eyes are heavy and my back kinda aches. Yeah, I may be opening with complaining, but today wasn't all bad. Work wasn't the greatest but school went pretty well, and between school and work was pretty cool, so all in all a fine day I guess.

One exam down, two left. Today was my C++ exam and it went well, as far as I could tell. It was easier than I thought it would be, and I feel pretty confident about all of the answers I came up with. It was hand-written and 22 pages long... it was a bit annoying to write that much with a pencil, and the desk was awkward and hurt my neck but... ah well. I finished the exam fairly quickly, one of the first, and Calen and I finished at the exact same time, which kind of looked suspicious, but I assure you, was a coincidence.

After the exam was over, Calen and I grabbed a coffee and donut while we waited a few minutes for Mathew to finish his exam... Calen kept talking to me about 3DS and how he could get me a huge discount because of his flyer and employee discount, so I gave in and said I would take the deal, since I know I would eventually buy one so may as well save money. We drove to Toys R Us, and Calen went in and picked me up a 3DS and two games, Zelda: Ocarina of TIme 3D and Super Mario 3D Land, which I saved a total of $77 due to the discounts, so that's a pretty good deal!

While waiting for Calen in the car, Matt and I decided to go to East Side Mario's and told Calen to just meet us there when he was done. I ended up getting some Italian Wedding Soup, free garlic bread and then some ricotta stuffed pasta in a blush sauce. It was good, and filling, and we eventually left and went home.

Once home I unpacked the 3DS and got it charging, but I had to leave for work right away, so I just called a cab and I was out the door. I had an uneasy feeling going in to work, and while it wasn't a terrible night at work, there were certain problems that came up. Specifically, I was scheduled to work on both of my exam days, which is you know... not good. Also we ran out of turkey on the buffet, but I was stuck in the cafe and Allen was out on the buffet, so it was out of my control. It added some stress but in the end it was fine, and I don't think it was that big of deal.

Jon drove me home around 11pm or so... I put on some of my awesome potato cheddar soup, and while it warmed, I did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen. I ate my soup while browsing the intenet, eventually moving to the living room... where I started writing this. About half way I decided to have a bath, which I did, and then I finished writing... kinda. Well, I mean, I'm still writing but... I think I'm about done now.

Tomorrow I've got work at 9am to 5pm... so a pretty standard day. Hope it goes okay and I can come home and actually have a night to relax and maybe even do laundry!
