Weakerthan

Today was an easy, good day. Strange how those have been following me around this week so far.

I woke up groggy this morning, obviously due to taking a sleeping pill the night before, but I still managed to drag myself out of bed, and make coffee and get ready for work. I didn't do much beyond that, I just got ready and went to catch the bus around 10am, so I could get to work for 11am.

At work we had a smaller plated for about 30 people, salads, chicken and bread pudding. I started by getting the salads out of the way, and desserts, and when Jon got there, he took care of the chicken and potatoes. We got really far ahead - as in we were done the plated prep by like 2pm, so we got pretty much everything for tomorrow's dinner ready as well. We did really well, and it was easy and relaxed and we got a lot accomplished.

Jon gave me a ride home from work, so I got home around 8:15pm or so, and just sat down to have a snack. I watched an old SNL and relaxed but was too cold and ran a hot bath to warm up. Since then I played a few games... yes that's right, a few games. I tested my 360 and the disk tray started working (while not perfectly), so for now it appears to be working well enough to pass as a game console. So I played some Burnout Revenge but kept crashing way too much, so I stopped, and then just fucked around in a couple other games for no reason, never really accomplishing anything, and decided to put on a movie.

I couldn't pick one, so I put on a Weakerthan's documentary that was on demand, and it's good, but I may switch and turn on a real movie soon.

I'm kind of running out of things to write... oh yeah, tomorrow. Tomorrow is another easy plating and easy day at work, so... yay! I work 12pm to 8pm(ish) and should be a fine day.

It appears I'm only a good writer when I'm suffering immensely, and since I'm in a pretty good mood right now, you get boring, bland writing... ah well!
