Just Relax

Yesterday was an interesting, dramatic day, filled with strange events, and non-Jordan like happenings.

It started with Bekki going to the dentist for an examination to find out what was causing pain in her mouth, and I was at school, and she went in and found out that her wisdom tooth had to come out, as it was the problem, and the dentist wanted to take care of it right away. So I get a text that she was getting her tooth out, and she had never had any dental work done really, so she was nervous. We were done class so I got Calen to drive me to the dentist so I could be with her, and help her in any way that I could. After she got her tooth out, and had paid and waited enough time to leave, we called a cab and while waiting for the cab, Bekki straight up passed out into my arms (because she said she felt weird), so I grabbed on to her and helped her to the ground as her weight shifted into my arms and, while under normal circumstances I would probably be terrified, I went into survival mode and just did what I had to do to take care of her, got her to open her eyes and talk to me, and I went and got help as soon as she was awake. We went inside and Bekki laid down for about twenty minutes or so until she felt a bit better, and we re-called a cab and got home safely.

I spent the afternoon doing everything I could to take care of her, to make her life even a tiny bit more comfortable, it's all I cared about, nothing else. I walked to the grocery store and got alphaghetti, instant mashed potatoes, frozen yogurt and some soups. I made lunch, and made sure she was comfortable on the couch and we tried watching a movie (It's Kind of a Funny Story), but Bekki was kinda out of it and fell asleep while we watched.

The day was kind of filled with that, up to around 5pm. Bekki started to feel a bit stable and okay, and it was time to go to Thrice. Julie picked us up at around 5:45pm, and we drove to Toronto. I won't go into to much detail because... what's to say, but Thrice at the Kool Haus was really good, really awesome. They played for over two hours and played so many good songs, and were so good. I loved it, although my legs and arms and back were sore as shit, and I didn't get home and to sleep until after 2:30am, and I had to wake up at 6am this morning, so I knew it was going to suck so bad.

I woke this morning feeling hungover but I hadn't drank at all... I had a headache, felt so dizzy and out of it, and was in a lot of pain and discomfort. I took the bus to school, presented my case study for ASP.Net and got perfect on that portion, and went home as soon as possible.

The afternoon was spent napping, and then around 5pm I went and hung out with Mark at Scots Corner! It was great to see him and will most likely be seing him again on Saturday.I'll write more about it tomorrow maybe, but I'm super tired now and watching 50/50 and need to sleep soon, so I'm going to go.

DirectX midterm tomorrow, and then work after school - sucks. Can't wait to be home to relax.
