Look At What We Found

I started the day feeling very lazy, feeling like I may not accomplish much. It never feels good to go through a day like that, but sometimes it can't be avoided. Luckily, today I avoid it.

I woke up early again, around 6:30, and had another bagel and cream cheese for breakfast (wonderful herb and cheddar store-baked bagels from Loblaws) and went and watched Star Trek: TNG. Bekki woke up and I convinced her that making waffles would be a great idea, so she made waffles, which is a very big deal because she doesn't make anything, ever. She made me waffles for breakfast! Well, technically it was my second breakfast, but still, it's a pretty awesome thing.

After second breakfast, I laid in bed and read some of my book (Lost Stars) and eventually fell asleep while listening to a podcast. Once I woke up, it was around 11:30am and I had to get lunch ready. Lunch was going to be a broccoli quiche, so I turned the oven on, boiled the broccoli, sauteed some onion and made the egg mix for the quiche. It took about fifty minutes total, and we had some of my vegetable soup to go with it.

It was the early afternoon when I decided that I couldn't just sit around all day. I made a bunch of tasks on Wunderlist, and spent the afternoon cleaning bathrooms, making banana bread (yum!) and cleaning up the kitchen. I also packed a bunch of snacks for the week, made strawberry syrup for yogurt, and eventually got dinner ready.

Dinner was breaded catfish and rice, with peas, carrots and corn. It was pretty delicious, and afterward we had banana bread and decaf for dessert. I eventually went back to the basement, watched some more Star Trek: TNG and worked on my website (timelines mainly).

Afterward, I had a bath, and now we're watching the 2014 Doctor Who Christmas Special.

Guess that about wraps it up!
