Headachy Bastard is Me

Linzie came over very early this morning (5:30am) and I cooked her scrambled eggs and toast, and I cooked myself poached eggs and toast and then we went to bed. The previous night Ben and I beat Halo on the legendary difficult (quite a feat) co-operativly, and saw the incredible bonus ending! You have to beat it for yourself though!

When I woke up today (2:30pm) it was already almost time to go to work so I didn't really do much other than check my email, check the pisseria and then sit around before I had to go to work. So I grabbed my Mp3 player (which is filled with The Used album The Used, and took off on the bus for work.

Work was okay. Aaron was stoned like always, Julia wasn't feeling very well, Jesstine only made a couple mistakes and I didn't even change out of my work clothes. It went pretty fast and I didn't even feel like crying once! I was a little worried about Julia but she eventually started to feel better so my shift ended on a good note. Throughout all of my shift though, both of my knees and the right of my hip were killing me with arthritic pain, a very annoying condition that I share with my father. It's not that bad, it's just very annoying to have to be on my feet for so long. It's okay if I can sit or lay down. I took 4 advil when I got home and the pain went away for a few hours. It's coming back now, and my headache hasn't got any better. I should sue advil. Fuckers.

Linzie, Kimmy, Sarah and Teresa all came over to hang out, watch a movie and listen to music... which we did. Moulin Rouge (which, maybe because I was really tired, or because I had a headache, or because they used too many cartoon sounds, but I found it was horrible) and sat around for the rest of the time. I had a nap half way through the movie because it seemed like a better use of my time.

They all just left, so I tried having a bath, but I couldn't relax or get comfortable and my headache is still pounding at my head... bah. I should go to sleep but I want to talk to Sarah and update my website... I guess I've got one of those complete... now I guess I'll chat for a bit.

In medieval Europe, dragons were considered mostly evil and a generally bad omen. Christianity linked the dragon with Satan because of the dragon's snake-like appearance. However, to the Orient cultures the dragon was a symbol of wisdom and royalty. It was a benign animal and the fifth creature of the Chinese zodiac. It resided over the east and the sunrise. It was also said to bring rain and the springtime. The dragon is interesting because it combines all four elements: air, earth, fire, and water. It could fly, had the horns of a ox, breathed fire, and resided over the moon.
