Credibility does not lie within your clothing
I guess it's been awhile... but I have been busy lately, so I have an excuse. I haven't really had a second to myself in the past week or two, because of various circumstances... like the AFI concert, which kicked ass. Or the Reel Big Fish concert which kicked ass... and the day's in between I closed at work, so really, when I say I haven't had time to myself, I mean it.
I went to AFI with Linzie, Aaron, Ben and Sarah, around 4pm, while doors opened at 7pm. It was an awesome show. A tad bit bigger than when I saw them at DV8, but it was still as good. They're live show keeps improving, as are the places they are playing. The sound quality was a lot better (due to the improved sound system, not because of the band). I got to hang out with Owen and Ally and Ian which kicked ass. I always love hanging with them.. I never get to see them anymore.
I went to RBF with my Dad and I had no idea a band named The Matches were going to be playing, but they did and they were awesome. They were around my age, maybe a year or two older, but they were nice. They were an independant band, which meant they had NO tour funding or anything, so since they were so kick ass, I spent all my money on them (a CD, a jacket patch, two buttons and three stickers) and talked to the singer and the drummer and the merch guy quite a bit. Anywho, I also saw Wakefield which was decent but not too exciting and Zebrahead which were amazing (way better than I had expected them to be)... they really knew how to work the crowd. Anyway, Reel Big Fish were awesome, as they always are. My Dad really enjoyed the show and so did I.
Wednesday I went downtown to get my lip pierced (on the side) and when I got home, Linzie pierced the top of my ear. I had wanted to do it since the beginning of February, but I finally got around to it now. I think it looks good and it'll look better in two weeks when I can get a smaller ring for it. I plan on putting in a different earing in my ear in the next few days (once the pain goes away).
Other than that, I'm just typing this, letting Linzie sleep and Aaron is playing goldeneye. I guess that's it for now... bye bye.
