Down a Rabbit Hole
Work was okay today and I made it through okay. The feeling of joy I get when I'm done my day there is indescribable. I walk home with a smile, and a good feeling that I made it through. I almost always pick up a snack on the way home as a reward kinda; tonight I got popcorn, chips and pop! okay, so there's no way I can eat that all in one night but it's the thought that counts!
Linzie came over today because it was Thursday and she comes over every Thursday. She woke me up all early like and I changed my pants because I was wearing bright green hello kitty pants, and then let her in, and went back to bed after she looked at me and just said, "oh.. go back to bed" haha. I appreciated it, as I was dead tired and not fully aware of what was going on. Basically the morning was her watching TV, me laying there half asleep, but not asleep enough to actually get any rest, and her sometimes coming in and saying things and me nodding. I like our time together... I can't really put into words what our relationship means to me, but it's special and I like it. I wonder sometimes what it means to her... perhaps nothing! I dunno!
The only thing about work worth mentioning was lunch. Chris [http://neileslife.blogspot.com] and Matt [http://mgrantham.blogspot.com] and myself got in the car, and drove all the way to Byron to Domino's pizza (where Chris has his second job) and we got a large pizza and bread sticks for a huge discount. We were driving insane speeds, swirving in and out, and doing hilarious things... it was actually pretty fun. We got back to work with about ten minutes to eat the pizza and we managed. After pizza, I went back on the phones. Also, it's worth mentioning that these guys keep me sane while at work, because without the humour, and talking about similar interests and sense of humour, I'd probably kill myself with my own headset.
After work was chicken dinner, watching Conan and sitting at the computer talking to people. It's really hard for me to keep a conversation with someone (especially someone new) going because I get so bored and uninterested in such generic conversations, or I get stuck talking to the most retarded people to ever live. I just... pause.. stare ahead, and close the message window hehe. I don't mean to be rude but... what the hell.
The rest of my night was spent on the phone with Vanessa for the most part... we just talked after my bath and eventually we got off the phone and then I talked to Steve, then I wrote this. I guess that brings me up to date. Tomorrow I'm going to be awoken by Vanessa being at my door, which is something to look forward to. So, I guess I'll end this short entry with some humour: Here is a video of Nick. enjoy!
