Writing goes where?

Just so everyone knows, there is a plastic bag stuck in the tree in front of my window and it always catches my eye and is very distracting. Thanks.

Yesterday was Lindy's birthday, and Marilyn took her, myself and my Mom out to Kelsey's for dinner, and it was an experience. I'm not sure when it happened, but at some point, restaurants started serving food like they live in a trailer park. What I mean by this is... they serve instant mashed potatoes, frozen vegetables, canned mushrooms.. this is the stuff that I don't buy at home because it's too cheap and crappy, but if I go out and pay good money for a meal, I'd expect them to give me real food but apparently that's just crazy. I ordered chicken breast, on mashed potatoes covered in a balsamic sauce, with a side of sauteed mushrooms and seasonal vegetables. What I actually received was some sort of jelly/jam mashed potato substitute... the pile of crap actually jiggled when I moved the plate, and slid through the fork when I picked it up, and had the consistency of lard. The veggies weren't fresh tasting, at least, I can only assume they weren't fresh tasting because they didn't have any taste at all! The chicken and sauce however, were wonderful, so... what the fuck restaurants? Stop serving shit dorm food, and make a meal for once. I can make better food at home using only my asshole.

I've finished my chores for today, and will probably attempt to play some SSX On Tour, and maybe some The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. I've beaten SSX On Tour, and now I'm trying to just rape it's dead body to get every single thing out of it. There are still some shreds that I've never completed and some boasts I've yet to find, but I've completed all the medals, and have seen the credits. The shreds that are left are almost impossible, and take hours of repetitive playing, memorizing and trying and trying again to beat them... but it will be satisfying when I've 100%'d the game. In Zelda, I've just entered the dark world and am making my way through the first dungeon. I've completed most of it but I can't remember how to get the master key, so I turned it off in frustrating last night.

I really want to rearrange my room and somehow work the TV/Playstation in to the arrangement, but I've lacked inspiration to come up with a working design, so I've just thought about it a bunch and never done anything. I think I just need to draw a picture or something and just do it... maybe tomorrow.

Yesterday I released a new project called Excessive Games, which is a backlog manager for video games. You basically put in the games you own, and use it to keep track of the games you've started, beaten, and 100%'d, and it gives you overviews and completion percentages, and you can keep notes for yourself to remember what you were doing... stuff like that. I was inspired directly by jclast's game collection (where I kindly lifted the system images (and made a few myself) and Drumble's game collection which used a more advanced method. I basically took what they had made for themselves, and made it so that anyone in the world can use it by simply creating an account, and away they go. So... away you go! It's in beta right now, so there will be bugs, features missing, and stuff like that, so report any problems to me. There will be updates coming in about a week or two.

I think that's all I've got to talk about for now. I'm off to accomplish things!

I enjoyed your description of the food at Kelseys very much. But it's true, when we make food we use fresh veggies and real potatoes.. and who buys canned mushrooms? I didn't ever think they even canned them..

And I also enjoyed that you're raping SSX On Tours dead body.. I laughed out loud to myself hehe. :)
