It's 2pm and while I may not post this right away - I may just use it as a starting point for when I write later on, but I figured I'd get started writing, as I've got some time to relax. Yes, that's right, it's a Saturday afternoon and I'm not at work, in fact I'm on my couch with Kairi and Tidus and I'm watching TV and I just had a nice breakfast bagel and some soup. I'm cleaning and relaxing and it's wonderful.

Yesterday was a pretty busy lunch at work, and I was working 7am to 3pm, so it mostly my responsibility, so it was a bit hectic. Julie had the day off because she had to go to a funeral, and Jon wasn't in until 11am, so it was just Chef and myself, and I had just asked Chef to do one of the entree's for me so that I could get the pizza lunch ready and all of the other items on the lunches out of the way in time.

Spencer drove me to work because he worked at 7am as well, so that was awesome, being able to sleep in a bit longer than normal, but funny enough, I actually slept in even more, and woke up late, making it quite a rush to get out on time. I didn't have time to brush my teeth or do anything except eat a bagel as fast as possible and chug a coffee and run out the door.

The time leading up to lunch was hectic and I was a bit stressed, not overwhelmed or anything, but it was non-stop work, non-stop running around, getting things together, organized, ready and so on. Jon eventually came in at 11am and got his ratatouie ready in record time, and the lunch went out and everything was good. The second half of the shift was much more calm, just cleaning up and prepping for the next day. I finished at 3pm and left to catch the bus. The bus ride home was slow and sleep inducing... pretty sure I struggled to stay awake the entire trip, and succeeded I think... difficult to remember.

Once I got home, I spent some time cleaning up, but shortly after decided to make an early dinner, as I had plans in the evening to go to a birthday party, which I'll get into in a second. It was about 4:30 when I started dinner, and was about 5:15pm when I finally sat down to eat. I made a nice meatloaf and mashed potatoes... I had no vegetables really, so I just had corn and garlic buttery mushrooms (I figured they went with the beef, but the truth is I would've eaten them alone haha). It was a satisfying meal, and eating it was probably a good idea, as I didn't think waiting until 8pm or 9pm to eat dinner at a restaurant would've been good for my health, especially considering I hadn't really eaten all day.

After dinner Bekki came over to bring some stuff, schoolwork and things and we had a beer or two together before Julie arrived to drive me to Moxies for Mel's birthday dinner. We had to park far away because we couldn't find a spot anywhere near the restaurant, so we parked a couple blocks away and walked briskly to our destination. We sat around for a long while chatting with Nikita, ordering a couple beers and eventually having dinner. I wasn't that hungry but I was pretty buzzed from the beer and figured it was a good idea to spend $26 on a meal even though I knew I wasn't going to eat it all, or a lot of it at that. I ordered veal meatballs stuffed with boccicini, served with tomato sauce over linguine. It was really a good meal but I just didn't have it in me to finish it, and as time went on, we decided to move on to APK Live to see Skag Barons, but said our goodbyes first, paying, taking out money, forgetting our doggie bags, and finally leaving to walk back to the car (which had a nice parking ticket on it).

We made our way to APK, found a parking spot in the lot across the street, paid, and walked over. The only way I could get in to the bar is to let them know I was on a special list (thanks to Spencer) because I had no ID, but they'd just X my hands and would let me in, so I mentioned the fact that I was 'on the list' and the guy remembered and walked me down the stairs and showed me to the bartender so that I couldn't buy drinks. I complied, waved and looked around to find Tom, which I did pretty much right away... Julie walked to the bathroom, and I sat down with Tom and Laura, stealing Tom's beer, you know... that thing I wasn't supposed to have. I just pulled my sleeves down over my hands to block the two giant permanent marker x's, and carried on. Tom let me drink half of his pitcher, which was awesome, and eventually Julie joined us, and before I knew it, Bekki and Connor showed up to join us, and we all talked and carried on. Eventually everyone from Moxie's unexpectedly showed up, Mel and all her friends... Matt, Amanda, Mike, Peachy and others all showed up and it was nice to see them. Eventually Spencer went on to play, and Laura wanted to dance and sing along and all that fun stuff, so we went up close (we being Bekki, Laura, Tom and myself) and listened to the band. We moved around, Laura danced, people came and visited, we cheered, pictures were taken, and it was a lot of fun (and loud). Eventually they finished their set, Spence came over and said hi, and had offered to buy me a drink earlier in the night but got side tracked, so he remember and called me over to the bar. I was a bit hesitant because of how I was you know... singled out, but Spence said fuck it, and we walked up. He offered me a choice of jagger or whiskey, and I said beer, and he said no, whiskey or jagger, and I said... fine... whatever! We both did a shot of jagger, and he bought the bartender a shot as well, and it was good fun. Went down easy, and afterward Spence took off to mingle, Tom, Laura, Bekki and I hung out a bit around the bar, eventually going to leave around 1:30am.

Once we got outside to begin walking to the car, we spotted Spence talking to our friend Ian, who seemed to be slightly intoxicated. Spence asked if we could drive him home, and I asked Tom and he said sure, so we collected Ian as best we could and started off to the car, which was just a block or two away. Ian was pretty out of it, but we managed to get his address from him, and looked it up on GPS... it was quite the adventure, lots of laughing and listening to Iron and Wine, but we delivered Ian to his home, and Tom and Laura dropped us off safely.

Bekki is pretty and I like her.

-The Next Day-

Waking up... I wasn't hung over, but I didn't feel 100% either. Bekki and I split a bagel and cream cheese before she had to leave for work. My memory of this morning is fairly hazy, but I do know that I played some games, hung out on the computer for a bit, and had a breakfast of champions consisting of a bowl of chips only an hour or so afterward.

I used my day off to do a bit of much needed cleaning... you know, generally the same boring crap I always write about, but yeah, I did the dishes, litter, made the bed, cleaned up all my clothes and organized everything. It was a pretty relaxing day to be honest... I felt stress free, carefree, I was enjoying my time, I felt good. It's a nice change, to be honest.

I was dying of hunger but had no real lunch food, well... nothing obvious, so I looked through the cupboards and fridge, when I was struck my inspiration. I had a toasted bagel, with a friend egg, bacon, spinach and goat cheese sandwich, with a bowl of my potato cheddar chive soup. It was a pretty awesome lunch, and I really enjoyed it.

After my lunch I was kind of struck by a crazy amount of tiredness, you know... which happens after getting very little sleep and drinking... I put on some tv, and laid down on the couch, slipping in and out of sleep for about an hour or so. I had plans to go out to the movies later on in the day, so I was essentially wasting time until it was closer to when I had to leave. It was around 5pm when I decided (or not so decided) to nap, and I got up around 6pm, getting ready to meet Bekki at the good ol' Windermere, eventually catching the bus to make my way there.

It was dark by the time I arrived at work... it was cold and walking sucked but I passed the time with music and stuff. Julie was still in the kitchen, so I talked to her for a bit and made fun of Connor while Bekki finished up her stuff and got changed. Once everything was in order, we called a Checker to take us to Silvercity in Masonville. We got there and waiting in line for god damn ever because of how completely fucking retarded people are (you know, in general)... we stood in line for the debit/self-serve ticket booth, and it just took fucking forever. The lines beside us moved quickly and people passed us; gotta say I was getting pretty pissed off, but we eventually got to the front, and bought our tickets for Woman in Black. We enjoyed some popcorn and drinks, and got a decent seat. The movie was good... creepy and scary, and nice to see Harry Potter in something else... I think he held his own and proved he can be a believable character in other fiction. After the movie, I got change to catch the bus, and we went and waited for the Wellington.

The bus ride home was pretty fucking terrible, as it was filled with a bunch of drunk assholes, who were tripping and rubbing all up in this *waves hands over body*. The trip seemed to take forever, and we got off and grabbed some stuff at Bekki's before getting back on a terrible bus, making it downtown too late to catch the bus and then having to pay for another cab. Ah... such is life. I'd rather pay the $10 and get home in ten minutes, then save the money and get home an hour later. Fuck that.

Another Day Goes By!

I woke up at 6am... this is Sunday now... yeah, I realize that this entry is probably really difficult to follow but please... try. I woke up late, at like 6:15am or so, and had missed a text from Connor and a call from Julie, so I called her back and she told me she was going to be getting ready and leaving soon, so I did what I had to do to get ready... eat breakfast, get dressed and all that, and then waited around for Julie to arrive, eventually going out and driving to work.

We did 101 for continental, which is a lot, but it went smoothly and didn't feel like it, which is a good thing. Julie, myself and Martin got brunch out fine, and it was fairly steady, but under control enough for me to spend most of my time working on pastries and salads for the next day... Martin took care of the buffet mostly, and generally the day went by fairly quickly. At around 3pm, Julie and I took off, and she drove me home.

When I got home from work, Bekki and I had planned to go to the store... for a nice walk and to grab some things for a good dinner, and since we were both starving, we left fairly quickly (kinda... maybe a bit delayed). I picked up ingredients for a nice chicken dinner... chicken breast, vegetables and things of that nature... the walk was nice, and it was good to get out I think.

Once home I started dinner right away, making a BBQ chicken breast, served beside mushroom risotto, asparagus, green beans and baby carrots. It was pretty good, and we enjoyed dinner while watching an episode of Dexter. For dessert we had some vanilla ice-cream and watched a couple more episodes of Dexter.

After dinner, Bekki worked on some school work while we had the superbowl on. Now I know... please don't freak out... I put on the superbowl because I thought Jimmy Fallon was coming on live right after it was over, so I figured the best way to figure out when it was over was to have it on, but as soon as you start watching you become immediately involved and can't stop, so yeah... that happened.

I eventually had a bath, and afterward made a snack and started to write a bit, working on this massive three day long entry. Jimmy came on at 12am, and I've pretty much watched the entire episode now and I'm still writing, so it's taking me awhile but at least I'm getting it done.

Tomorrow I've got work at 9am until 5pm, and it should be a steady but decent day... it's almost 1am and I've yet to sleep, so I may have to do that soon... I need to wake up around 7;15, so I'm already looking at 6 hours or less, which is balls considering I got like three hours of sleep last night and haven't napped at all. Ah well... live and... not learn? Sounds right. I'll go with that.
