Early Sleeping Pill

Today was an enjoyable lazy day, which was what I both expected and planned for, since I had no school, no work, and nothing to do. I knew that I'd be playing a lot of WoW, and that's pretty much what I did.

I bought Cataclysm on my visa so Michelle could play with me, and that's what we did for a few hours today. There is just something uniquely fun about playing the game with a friend, especially questing, that you don't experience when you are soloing. Now don't get me wrong, playing by myself can be fun, relaxing and satisfying, but having a partner to do it all with brings out a group dynamic you don't normally get to experience. I decided to level my Warrior while playing with Michelle and she decided to level her shadow Priest, so I've specced protection, and I charge in and tank all the mobs while she deals all the damage without fear of getting hit, which works out perfectly.

We actually did make a fair amount of progress today, getting our first Cataclysm level, 81, and making it a fair way up to 82. It's quite addictive actually, and I hope to continue playing those characters on a regular schedule, once or twice a week at least.

I've also decided to level my Druid as feral/resto when I start playing with Ben, which might be this coming Monday, as I figure feral will suit leveling with his Warlock very well, being able to stun, burst or tank if neccessary, and my dual spec will be resto for when we do dungeons and we want a fast queue.

I pretty much played World of Warcraft on and off all day, stopping for lunch and dinner, and then just recently stopping early for the night to give myself a chance to relax and calm down before getting ready for bed. I decided I would skip raiding and just watch a movie with a sleeping pill to fall asleep on time and wake up tomorrow.

i put on Die Hard 2, which is another great Christmas movie, and it's very awesome, although a tad long, so I'm not going to sleep as early as I had wanted.

I guess I didn't really write about it, but the other night Ally and Kurt came over for the annual Christmas tree putting up and Die Hard viewing that we do each year. I had eggnog, made some yummy brie, deviled eggs, and various other snacks while we listened to some christmas tunes from Sufjan Stevens, and put up the Christmas tree piece by piece. After the tree was up, it was time to for the wonderful viewing of the best Christmas movie ever, Die Hard, and this time for the first time ever, to be viewed in glorious 1080p high definition picture and surround sound. The movie was awesome, the night was fun, and I think everyone had a good time.

Tomorrow is my operating systems and hardware exam, which is at 8am in R1020, and I think it's going to be fairly easy, and fairly quick. It's 120 multiple choice questions, and it's open book, in the sense that we can view any of the slides or materials from class, which also includes the midterm tests, that have the answers too.... so that's kind of weird, but... I hope I do well.

Friday I have my last exam, which is at 5:30pm, and it's the Cisco final exam, which should be easier than my Monday exam.

No work until Saturday, but I have to go out shopping tomorrow, which I'm not really looking forward to because I know how busy it's going to be and I don't really have any kind of idea about what I want to get for anyone, which just blows. Going in blind without a list... I guess I'll try to make a list tomorrow after the exam but before I go out.

Guess that about sums it up for now, gonna finish Die Hard 2, and then go to sleep so I can wake up really tired and do an exam. Wooo!
