It's Saturday Night!
Well Saturday turned into quite a bit of work, and I didn't really get any prep done for tomorrow, which is a huge setback, and stayed two hours and fifteen minutes late.
when I got to work, I had to get a lunch buffet ready, doing all the cold, salads, cheese, all the fun stuff, got that wrapped up, and after noon, Julie and I spent the afternoon getting a reception that was going out at like 8pm or something. While getting the reception done, I did whatever platters I could for the next day (like ones I was already doing). So I had to do something like nine crudite, eight cheese... I was ready to just shoot myself. That did take quite a long time to do all of that.
After the reception was finished, we had a tasting at 5pm that we had to get done, and that's why I stayed late. Essentially we got it all done and ready pretty close to when it went out, and then I put out the apps, helped Julie out out the entres, and then I did the desserts, and by this point it was passed six, and there was still nothing done for Sunday, so I baked off muffins and croissants, and Julie cleaned up, and that basically lead into 7pm when I finally left.
When I got home, I had spaghetti and bruschetta, watched an episode of Star Trek Voyager, and enjoyed my meal. Afterward, I played a few dungeons with Michelle and then with Amanda, and then I noticed it was getting late and my headache was getting worse and worse.
I ran a hot bath, got all clean, but got out rather quickly, a habit that seems to be forming sadly.
I moved my laptop to the living room, put on SNL and made a prep list for Sundays in Word, and now... writing this. Gonna go to sleep as soon as SNL is over, and hopefully I won't be too tired tomorrow.
