The Stale Smell of Urine
I'm at work. I just took a personal (break) to go the bathroom quickly because during the first hour of our starting line meeting, I drank a Coke super fast and it wanted out super fast; anyway... the stale smell of urine is all thats present inside mens bathrooms. The fresh smell of decaying urinal pucks mixed with disgusting yellow liquid sitting there, the warm aroma floating in the air... it makes me sick.
Taking calls here is like trying to find as many ways as you can to lie about the same thing. When you call tech support, don't really believe anything they say. They're always full of shit, just trying to dump you on someone else, so they don't have to think up any more lies. I guess that makes it an easy job... but then again, if you get caught lying by someone higher up in the company, you get in trouble, but through all of training you are pretty much taught to just make up stuff and make the customer believe you know what you're doing.. 'command the call' they say.
I never knew it was so difficult and time consuming to figure out how to turn up the volume of a microphone. I just spent thirty minutes on the phone with some lady trying to get her microphone louder. We ended up not being able to do it, and she's ordering a sound blaster live card. What fun! I don't mind the thirty minute calls where I don't even solve anything; those rock!
I never knew it was so difficult to find two numbers on a bright white sticker. I've had multiple calls that never went beyond the product information because they just can't find it.
It's my first break soon... I'll update this entry as the day goes on.
I couldn't wait for lunch. It was first break and I was starving... I had to eat. I went on my first break and ate my delicious, filling hamburger helper (three cheese manacoti .. or something), and quickly went back to work.. I knew I was going to be hungry later on, so I asked Mark to buy me some snacks, because he had mentioned he was going to the store on his break.. so he brought me back a big bag of Dillicous Doritos and a big thingy of Coke and that was my lunch. it roxxored.
