I Fell Asleep
I fell asleep after supper and Highlander, around 8pm, not really intentionally, but intentionally enough that I turned on music in front row and went to sleep.. *cough* so I guess it was my fault that I actually fell asleep.
I hate falling asleep that late, because it always means I'll wake up before morning, and then not be able to go back to sleep right away because... and this is breaking news, sleep makes you less tired.
Since I'm going to Hamilton tomorrow (in a car, neat!) I decided to make a mixed CD to listen to, and while making it I had to keep two things in mind: my current musical preferences (day to day habits) and the fact that my Mom has to sit through the whole thing, and I'm most likely going to have it loud. I created the following playlist, however it should be noted that I never had a chance to actually put it in an order that I wanted because I had never burned a CD in iTunes before, and I thought I would be given the chance, and then when I discovered I didn't, it was too late to cancel.
- The Darkness - I Believe In A Thing Called Love
- Billy Talent - Devil In A Midnight Mass
- Billy Talent - Red Flag
- Panic! At The Disco - The Only Difference (etc)
- Dashboard Confessional - The Brilliant Dance
- Dashboard Confessional - Screaming Infidelities
- Anaklein - Thanks DM (Personal Jesus)
- AFI - Miss Murder
- The 69 Eyes - Lost Boys
- Annie - Chewing Gum
- Editors - Blood
- Thom Yorke - The Eraser
- Thom Yorke - Black Swan
- Rise Against - Chamber The Cartridge
- Hikaru Utada - Passion
- Imogen Heap - Headlock
- Imogen Heap - Goodnight and Go
- Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus
- Echo and The Bunneymen - The Killing Moon
Although I would've put the songs in a different order, it should be an enjoyable listen on the way to Hamilton, and for the way home I'm bringing a real, store bought CD... Rise Against - Siren Song of The Counter Culture, which my Mom probably won't enjoy it as much.
I'll be out of the city from about 10:30am to 5pm tomorrow, so don't expect responses on MSN, e-mail or phone, and once I'm home, I'll be back on the computer.. so.. well I really wasn't going anywhere with this paragraph.
As I mentioned, I have to be up well before 10:00am tomorrow, and it's 2:30am right now... but I took a sleeping pill and I'm just waiting to tired; I'm sure it'll come soon!
