Writing Photography Rambling

It's Saturday

Yes, I should be sleeping. I know I'm going to be tired tomorrow. In fact I kind of lost track of time and forgot to take my sleeping pill at a reasonable time, so I just took it, so it's going to be even more difficult to wake up and I'll be more tired than normal.

Today was okay, I did start to get tired and sore near the end but... for the most part I just got lost in the work. Spent the entire day doing the salads and then the desserts and then all the odds and ends. I didn't really have time to do any of the Sunday prep so I'm going into work tomorrow to a worst case scenario, and it probably won't be super fun. Hopefully after 10, after the food goes out and the running around stops, I can relax. I'll be alone in the kitchen and I can just put music on, and zone out and pretend I don't exist.

I watched Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and then three quarters of Dazed and Confused, and then I realized that SNL had started, so I turned on the PVR and started watching SNL, at which point I realized I hadn't taken a sleeping pill and it was already almost midnight, and also realized I needed to write something, so that pretty much brings us up to date.

I have a week to do a big C++ project, and I really want to get started, so I think I'm going to dedicate the majority of Monday to that purpose. I also have to finish the set up for my SQL practical exam by Wednesday, and basically there is a lot of school crap coming up all really fast and I haven't had time to think about it, but now that I do think about it, it kind of freaks me out, so I gotta go back to not thinking about it.

I'm hoping tomorrow goes okay and I can feel okay at work, and then maybe have time to start school work afterwards.

I've been listening to the Decemberists a lot lately, the new album and their first album.
