Happy New Year!

Alright so it's 2016 now and I've got some of the same resolutions as always... write more. When don't have say I want to try this? It's always so difficult though. I'm pretty sure I've completely forgotten what it feels like to write, how to form sentences and even how to come up with what to talk about.

Resolution
  • I lived in Rodney
  • I worked at Vicimus
  • I'm married to Bekki

One of my new years resolutions is to take more pictures, and to achieve that, I thought I would post one picture per day here on this website. I know that they won't be seen by anyone, but that's not the point, the point is to encourage me to think more about photography, and to capture feelings and things I see in my everyday life, to capture it and preserve it forever.

I always have such a hard time when I work in the afternoon instead of early in the morning, and today was no different. I strugged hard to be okay this morning when I was waiting to go to work and in the end I kind of just embraced my uselessness and just kind of collapsed on the couch and watched episodes of Futurama until I had to leave for work.

I beat Assassin's Creed tonight... the last three fight sequences were unimaginably frustrating, but it didn't quite ruin the entire experience... the game was fun and it was satisfying to finish it.

Generosity
  • I was dating Bekki
  • I lived on Langarth St.
  • I worked at Windermere

I was sitting in my computer chair, my mind shifting through things, too quickly to really tell what it was, what it is... I was tapping my foot... my knee so fast that the vibrations were causing my leg to feel strange. I felt hot, agitated... my mind was a swirl and I can feel all the things in my mind shifting into place, shifting into place to come crashing down on me. It's the shifting that kills me, the shifting that tries to kill me. I can't take the ups and downs, I can't take the sheer drops and hitting the bottom; being raised up high, just to fall again.

A Return to Routine

It's been nearly half a month... eighteen days of unstructured life, no routine, and tomorrow it ends and a new routine will begin. I think that getting back to a structured, predictable routine will only help me feel better and more stable, and I look forward to it, allthough I can admit it will take a little bit to get used to it again, it should be very nice once I do!

Today I pretty much just played games with Ben... we played World of Warcraft, Modern Warfare 2's Spec Op's mode, and then had dinner, then played more World of Warcraft, all while talking on vent.

New Years Resolution: Top 3 Albums
  • I lived on Langarth St.
  • I worked at Windermere
  • Michelle was my Roommate

The second instalment of my 2009 Top 3 Stuff series of writing continues today with my Top 3 Albums of 2009, as decided by what I keep going back to week after week. Unlike my selection of games, I chose to only select albums that were actually released this year, as I thought it was more important, because I could've easily just picked all Beatles albums and what not, so I figured we'd keep it current for the highest possible amount of relevance.
