It's Saturday afternoon, and I just cut my hair, trimmed my beard and had a shower to wash it all away. Now I'm sitting, watching Star Trek: TNG. The episode Frame of Mind from Season 6. I've always enjoyed this episode, as psychological thrillers almost always appeal to me and this episode is quite well done.

Today was a day off and I spent most of the day working on some personal programming - a website that organizes and assigns chores to various users (Bekki and I) and as part of my new years resolution, it should help me stay more on top of all the chores, and not just focus on the easy to remember ones. Certain things can be difficult to remember, especially when you just have a half hour before dinner and it's more obvious to do the dishes and tidy the living room, but now I can just go to the web site, click one button and it will tell me the few chores to do that day.

Bad Feelings
  • I lived on Grey St.

Last night I had a really hard time falling asleep, as I couldn't get bad thoughts out of my head. It was a mixture of sad, angry and scary, which made for a difficult time to get comfortable and fall asleep. My mind was running through a whole bunch of stuff and I just couldn't stop... it was pretty bad. For the first time in a long time I actually felt quite upset, and I'm hoping it passes, and doesn't happen again. I'm still in quite the bad mood today, but I'm going to be working on trying to get it out of my system. Anyway, just needed to get that out of the way.

Yesterday I cooked a roast beef for the first time ever, and it went really well and tasted great. I had to ask my Mom and Sister about how to cook it, but once I knew, it was very easy and basically just had to sit in the oven for three hours. I cooked potatoes with it, some corn, some veggies, and had coffee and banana bread for dessert, and overall it was a wonderful meal.

I played the Sims 2 (PC) after supper for a bit, and then eventually let Michelle play, and while she played I watched the movie I Heart Huckabee's, which I've never really enjoyed (I always thought it tried too hard), but this time I actually found it pretty good. I think I understood what they were going for a bit better, however I still feel it's lacking in a few areas. Anyway, I can officially say that it's a pretty good movie now.

I got my Xbox back, but apparently Xbox hard drives are manufactured to work with only one specific motherboard, so I lost my hard drive (and all save data) for a new one.

I guess when things go wrong, they really, really go wrong, or at least that seems to be the case lately. Lately it seems like nothing can go right at all, not even at all, in the smallest of ways.
