Excessive

We went to the Toronto Zoo today, in a somewhat spontaneous decision to do something with our day off. We don't usually (or ever) have the same day off together, and this week both of our days off fell on the same two days, so Bekki really wanted to do something special, so we thought about it and came up with the idea of going to the zoo. Well, really, it was Bekki's idea originally, as I've never really been to a zoo beyond small petting zoo's or whatever, so I didn't have a particular inclination to going to a zoo, but I had a lot of fun at the Victoria petting zoo, so it seemed like a decent enough idea, and any excuse to spend time with Brekkerson and the new camera was fun, so let's do it!

I'm tired, overtired, super tired. I'm getting a headache, my eyes are heavy and I feel pretty dead. Work was lots of work and my shift was long and I, at some point, broke a bit. There is always that point in the day where you switch from running around tryin to get things done fast so you can go home on time, to accepting the fact that there is no hope, and that sense of semi-panic and urgency kind of fades away, and you just give up, it happens on all shifts over 8 hours I think...

Wow, it's kinda early to be writing don't you think? Yeah... I suppose it is. It's difficult to form sentences and actually think about what I'd write at such an early hour in the morning, but since I'm unlucky enough to have woken up over an hour and a half ago, I've had some time to watch That 70's Show and wake up.

I need superglue. Someone give me superglue/crazyglue. now.

Oh my, I had quite the frustrating adventure this morning. I set my alarm because for some reason I thought this morning would be different but in fact it was exactly the same. I reset my alarm to the last possible time and then slept in over it, and I didn't have time to get pretty, or eat breakfast. I just ran and grabbed my Chunky soup and threw it in a bag along with my only clean bowl left.

mmm, good bath. Refreshing and relaxing.. although I'm not tired like I wish I was. I busted out my comic book boxes and got a spiderman comic to read... sensational spiderman 31, it had the Rhino in it so I read it during my bath. I want to get them all out and read them again in order.
