I've lost the ability to relax and not feel anxious. Today was a day off and while I tried my best to just feel at reset, I felt nervous the whole time, had butterflies in my stomach.

Exausting Lethargy

I feel like shit, and not in the normal way, not really. I feel physically... grimey, greasy, uncomfortable. I feel tired and uninspired. I did my homework and all, but beyond that I haven't done anything and the nights almost over. I didn't clean up, I didn't really play any games, I didn't read... nothing. Just an empty night and it's left me feeling useless.

I'm super tired, but not tired. I'm very sore, in pain really. My fingertips hurt so much that even typing makes me notice how sore they are. Work was terrible today, in fact, the majority of the day just seems like work, work, work, work...

Improvements

So I've been working away, adding new features as they pop into my head. With the recent addition of a 'recent activity' feed, I got a few ideas of how to improve the feature, and reduce the chances of a single user flooding their feed with repetitive information. I've implemented these ideas, as well as a few tweaks to improve the overall use of the site.

I'm so nervous to go back to work tomorrow, you have no idea. I almost feel as nervous as when I first started there, and it's stupid because the weekdays are by far easier than weekends, and I've worked weekends every week for the last year.

I went to bed last night with a pretty bad headache, one of those special headaches that are especially painful and difficult to lay down because it's more of a sharp pain than your average booming headache. I couldn't lay comfortably without my head hurting, and I knew that I had to sleep or else I'd just be in pain all night, so I got up and took two Tylenol and a sleeping pill and laid down. While I was still in pain, I'm pretty sure I fell asleep pretty quickly because I don't really remember much after that point.

Pretty Gosh Darn Good

I would say today was good, and worth writing about at that, and it's just a shame that I'm in no writing mood of any kind, so this entry is going to suffer because of that.

It seems I have another headache, this time it's worse than normal and it's difficult to not explode in pain. I just had an early bath in an attempt to cope with the pain, but while waiting for it to fill it got worse, possibly due to the incense smoke in the air, but either way, it didn't work out as I had hoped. Nevertheless, I'm now naked and clean, so at least something came from it.

I'll Wake Up Anytime Now
  • I lived with Ben on Cartier

Okay. My Dad and I always have intelligent discussions regarding interesting topics, so one day, I can't remember when or where I was (oh my fucking god, one of my cats just took the WORST smelling shit ever), I asked my Dad to write an article, which may or may not lead up to a series of articles, generally based on interesting topics. (god damn, i wish I knew where my insense was.. i think im dying). So anyway, about a week ago, my Dad had finished his first artcle, on String Theory, which was the topic which originally sparked this idea of an article, but my life has been a complete mess around the time he sent me the finished artcile, so I'm only getting to it now, converting it to fit my format and links and all that. But, you may now read and marvel over the text (now it smells like pee). I haven't made a link for it on my menu, or an index of the artciles, so you will have to access it right out of this news post for now.
