Excessive

Today was mostly a good day and yet I'm left here at the end of the night feeling depressed and anxious.

For the most part, I got through the day feeling energetic and positive. I was feeling hopeful and productive, which was nice. My Mom's computer messed up after work and I had to change all my evening plans, give up my dessert/relaxing time, and treadmill time and take care of it, and it just kinda set off my whole routine and mood.

I've been playing Final Fantasy XIV lately, as I found myself drawn to the gameplay of an MMO, and since it's kind of a downtime in World of Warcraft, I thought giving Final Fantasy XIV another shot was a good idea. As a side-effect, I also got Ally playing, and then Bekki playing, and then Kurt playing. I may have created a monster, now that Bekki plays the game more than I do, and I can see the concepts of the MMO are starting to sink in to her. She understands how to min/max dps and how to recognize bad players.

While today was a long shift at work, it actually went by fast, but that doesn't mean it was enjoyable. It was still ten hours, and I had to go on the pasta bar for most of lunch, and there was a deceptively large amount of prep to get done.

As lame as it sounds, the majority of my week has been spent on the couch, doing a variety of activities, but all couch central. I've been alternating between the things that I enjoy to do when I have free time, mainly watching movies, playing games, and programming.
