I'm Tired
  • I lived with my Mom
  • I was with Linzie
  • I worked at Pizza Hut

Yes, that's right; I'm tired. Interesting no? Anyway...I did a bit of Christmas shopping even though my family agreed to not buy stuff. I ended up spending $70 on stuff. I bought myself Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Fuck you to all who thought it was a bad movie.

Proud of Me
  • I lived with my Mom
  • I was with Linzie
  • I worked at Pizza Hut

I've accomplished so much in the last month or so, come so far and done so much that it's all been kind of a blur. Not only have I been more into writing stories; the ideas are again floating through my head, being created every second. I feel creative and in control of this make believe universe that I created. I've got a job, made my relationship even stronger and more enjoyable, found, checked out and got an apartment where I will be living, with my bestfriend of eleven years, parent free, totally in control of my survival and well being. Created my own budget, that works; as well as managed all my spending and deposits.

It's Been Awhile... Again
  • I lived with my Mom
  • I was with Linzie
  • I worked at Pizza Hut

Well, Friday I went to a concert, Alexis On Fire. I picked up a lot of Zines and ignored the first three bands as they just sounded like newly created Alexis on Fire clones (but I'm sure they're cool.. I was just their to see Alexis). So anyway, I met Owen's new woman, Erin. She seemed really cool, perfect for Owen, so that was pleasing to see Owen happy again. Although I'm getting some pretty fucked up conversations over MSN... The concert was good. I got an Alexis on Fire poster as well as their debute album... which I already had on my computer for over two months, but I love the band so they deserve my money.

Grown Up Day
  • I lived with my Mom
  • I was with Linzie
  • I worked at Pizza Hut

Today I did a lot of grown up things. I opened a bank account, bought a mans wallet, made a budget, kept track of my reciepts and .. other stuff.

I downloaded and installed Microsoft Money 2001 to keep track of my money (which is great) and .. yeah, nothing else happened today. Ben and I ARE taking appartment 225 at 87 Cartier Road. We will be moved in by Feburary, but we've got it starting January, so we can move in or whatever for how ever long we want to.

Busy Day
  • I lived with my Mom
  • I was with Linzie
  • I worked at Pizza Hut

So today was pretty busy. I had to get up at 9:30am so I could get my hair cut at 10:30am. I then went home, ate, changed, went to work from 1pm to 4pm, got picked up by Ben, drove home, changed, got my Mom, drove to the apartments we were going to look at, looked at them, came home, felt shitty, Linzie got here, felt shitty. Thank you.

Average Day
  • I lived with my Mom
  • I was with Linzie
  • I worked at Pizza Hut

Today was pretty average; nothing out of the ordinary happened really. I went grocery shopping, watched Smackdown... layed around with Linzie. Just the normal stuff really.

First Day At Work
  • I lived with my Mom
  • I was with Linzie
  • I worked at Pizza Hut

So today was my first day working at Pizza Hut. It went well.. I think. According to Lindy and another coworker, I did very very well, but I never really got the feeling that I was doing super or anything, just sorta dragging myself along as expected. Anyway...

Ten Foot Pole
  • I lived with my Mom
  • I was with Linzie
  • I worked at Pizza Hut

I went to a show tonight, Ten Foot Pole. I felt like shit through all of it and fell asleep through one of the bands so you could imagine that I didn't enjoy it as much as I should have. The first band and the best band that went on was Closet Monster. They were like a young Anti-Flag. The sound, the attitude, the intensity.. it reminded me of Anti-Flag or even Propagandhi; it was awesome. They're from Ajax (Sum 41 is also from Ajax). The second band that went on was Trouble Is. They had a very pop-punk sound to them, like New Found Glory. That's the band that popped into my head when I heard these guys. The singer has that same, sensitive guy sound to it. Third was Belvedere but I didn't really like their sound.. or maybe I did.. but I was totally out of it and fell asleep through most of it. I was sitting up, with my hood up and my hands over my face.. and I kept drifting in and out of conciousness... and I could only think of one thing. After Belvedere was finished playing, I kinda woke up a bit and stood up for Ten Foot Pole, the headlining band. I hadn't heard a lot of stuff by them, but enough to know that they were worth standing up close for. I've been listening to them for four or five years, so I should have been excited but I was so... uncomfortable that I just wanted to go home. Anyway, they played very well and I'm going to be downloading a lot more of their music in the next few days... over all, if I was feeling fine it would have been amazing show, with the awesome Closet Monster and exciting Ten Foot Pole, it was well worth the cost. Since I was feeling horrible, it was only a moderatly enjoyable concert (the whole time I just wanted to go home.. at one time I was handed money to take a cab home because I looked like hell).
