Revelation
  • I was dating Bekki

Today was an aggravating day, where I felt more angry inside than I have in a long time. I think I just woke up in a bad mood, and from the first second I was was at work it just got worse. It's the typical things, at first glance it comes off as everyone at work being lazy, or stupid, or both, but if thought about for a few more seconds, perhaps it's an inability to prioritize, or lack of experience. I don't know what it is, but I'm getting sick of going above and beyond and getting no rewards.

Graduation

There is quite a few things going on lately, and as it always seems to be the case, it can feel a bit overwhelming, the amount going on, the things we have to do, the stuff that's on our minds. Today was a good day, for many different reasons, but one of those reasons is that a lot was accomplished, and that list of things - those things swimming around in my head - was reduced significantly, and I'm finally starting to let myself get excited for change.

Routine

I've created a kind of relaxation ritual, especially at night or on days off, where I play Torchlight 2 on my one computer, and watch episodes of Doctor Who on the other. It's really quite relaxing, and I enjoy it quite a bit.

Disabled
  • I was dating Bekki

I had a disabling migraine today after dinner, most likely because there was 13.5 hours between meals (and the first meal was simply two pieces of toast and a sip of three month old lemonade). It was so bad that I couldn't do anything... even laying down with my arm placing pressure on my forehead didn't bring much relief, and it hurt to lay because the blood would go to my head and it would pound and pound.

I've quite annoyed with this rental bullshit, in that it's been seven days and we still have no response to our application. It's more than halfway through October, and we don't even know if we're moving. It's frustrating, disrespectful and unprofessional. I'm getting quite fed up with the way they're handling this, and I'd like to know what's happening either way so I can plan the future.

Unprofessional

Today wasn't so bad, although it started off feeling pretty dreadful. I was tired and grumpy, and all I wanted was to be at home in bed, but no, I was at work, it was dark out still and I was working away at getting breakfasts and lunches ready. The day went by fairly quickly and I accomplished a lot... it's funny how short an eight hour shift feels when I'm so used to working nine or ten hour shifts regularly.

A Sinister Movie
  • I was dating Bekki
  • I lived on Langarth St.

I regret not using my time more wisely today, I feel as though I've wasted a precious day off, which makes my stomach drop and weighs my chest down. I was up, woken by an alarm, I made breakfast for Bekki, she left for work, and I stayed up for a bit.
